Rowing at Sunrise

By February 4, 2016Blog, Featured, Media

Sunrise is usually one of the nicest times of day to row. Not only do you get to watch the day begin but it is also nice and cool. We’ve had some rain showers thrown in as well the last few days.

On tough days like yesterday, where I’ve really had to fight for every mile gained, or days like today where I am forced to sit on my para anchor and wait for the wind to return to “normal”; it’s easy to forget what a privilege it is just to be out here. Now, though, I am mainly ready to get through these last 450 nm and see my family again.

I hope to be able to row again later today or early tomorrow.
