It’s really hard to believe that two months from today I’ll be leaving Sarah and the kids for the race start in La Gomera. The race start is only 15 December, but I’ll need to be there for two weeks in advance to check that the boat has made it in good shape and to make final preparations.
I think I’m in pretty good shape in terms of preparations – but there are still dozens of things to get done before I go.
At this stage it feels like a mix excitement with definitely a few nerves thrown in as well!
